This residence sits within a remnant oak savannah on the Edwards Plateau. The design includes a variety of gathering spaces extending from the house to the edges of a sloping meadow. The revegetation strategy draws upon plant species endemic to the area and is intended to vastly reduce water use by transforming lawn to grasses and forbes.
